My name is Ava Shepherd. I am currently a freshman at Bozeman High School. I have been riding at CRE since 2015. Before that I rode English in Georgia for 3 years. I have been riding for 8 years and I have one horse at CRE. My horse, Georgia, is an 8 year old, Palomino Quarter Horse sired by Frenchmans Fast Cash. We have been a team since July of 2019. Our main event is barrel racing but we occasionally compete in pole bending and goat tying. Recently, we have been competing 2-3 times a month around the valley and plan to do more. So far, our fastest time on a standard barrel pattern is 19.2 seconds. One of our goals is to be able to go compete at the All In Barrel Race in Las Vegas in December of 2020.
