This clinic is open to all ages of riders that are comfortable at the walk/trot and at a minimum learning to lope/canter. Western tack is recommended. This class is designed to introduce a variety of maneuvers and trail obstacles to horse and/or rider. We will work on techniques and approaches to working through these trail obstacles challenges. Riders will have the opportunity to participate in a fun, friendly, trail competition on the last day of the clinic. Parents/family welcome to come and watch at the ‘Showdeo’ (2:30pm on 2nd day).
Students must have access to their own horse/leased horse or instructor approval to utilize a lesson horse (lesson horse use fee will apply). If you are new to CRE and would like to participate please schedule a private lesson assessment to determine your eligibility. All horses coming from off site must have proof of current vaccinations and negative coggins test.
Please make sure to pack snack, lunch and plenty of water. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen! All participants receive a t-shirt with clinic.
