Hi, my name is Olivia Elliott and my horse is Sinjin. We are both 13 years old, and I am in 8th grade. Sinjin and I have only been together since December 2019. When I first saw him, it was love at first sight. I have loved horses all my life, but started riding just last spring. Being around animals and riding Sinjin is like therapy for me. When I am riding I don’t think about anything else except what I am doing in that moment.
Sinjin and I focus primarily on barrel racing, but we also enjoy doing cowboy dressage and pole bending. This summer we are planning on going to as many barrel racing events as possible. Sinjin is very energetic so working on non-speed events like cowboy dressage is good for us.
CRE has taught me so much about responsibility and perseverance. Also, I have gained confidence. I consider CRE as a second home. I look forward to what Sinjin and I will accomplish in the future.
