“Smooch” is a favorite at Cedar Ridge Equine/JA Performance Horses. From the barrel pen to the roping pen he has been Amy’s main mount for many years. Sired by her since passed stallion Wata Newsy Count, Smooch holds a very special place in our hearts. The pair has won numerous titles together, including the 2014 URBC National Finale 2D year end title. In more recent years Smooch has assisted with lessons, as well as carried Amy’s youngest niece Rylee in college rodeo and her stepdaughter Kaycee to some of her very first big barrel races. He is worth his weight in gold and has a permanent home with us.
